The Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili met with the representatives of the European Business Association (EBA).
According to the press service of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili drew attention to the analytical report published by the European Commission, which positively evaluates Georgia's sectoral rapprochement with the European Union.
The chairman informed the participants of the meeting about the new draft law On Public Procurement, which brings the legislation of Georgia even closer to the European Union standards.
The representatives of the European Business Association noted the need to raise awareness about Georgia at the international level, as well as the importance of continuing the public-private dialogue for the further improvement of the business environment.
The meeting was also attended by Davit Songhulashvili, the Chairman of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee, Eka Sepashvili, the First Deputy of the Committee, and Maka Bochorishvili, the Chairman of the European Integration Committee.
