Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili has publicly criticized Brussels for its lack of response to the October 4 protest, during which demonstrators stormed the presidential palace on Atoneli Street.

In a social media statement, Papuashvili called it a “disgrace” that, after 13 days, EU institutions had not condemned the incident. “For the 13th day, Brussels has not condemned this violent assault on the presidential palace,” he wrote.
