The Georgian Parliament confirmed the credentials of 12 new MPs from the Gakharia for Georgia party, replacing Giorgi Gakharia and 11 others whose mandates were terminated due to non-attendance. The replacements include Gela Abuladze, Jemal Ananidze, and others.

Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili noted the party’s updated candidate list submitted to the Central Election Commission. Giorgi Gakharia called the mandate resignations a “mistake” and urged his party members to take their parliamentary seats.
