Georgian Parliament delegation participates in Euronest PA meetings in Yerevan

The security challenges and the current political and economic situation in the Black Sea region were considered at the meetings of the committees of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly on Tuesday in Yerevan, Armenia with the participation of the Permanent Delegation of the Parliament of Georgia.
As part of the visit, Euronest PA Co-Chairs Maka Bochorishvili and Andrius Kubilius held a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
The parties discussed the Eastern Partnership cooperation, current regional processes and security challenges. Ensuring peace and stability in the region was underscored at the meeting.
The necessity for European Union's support in the reform process for the Eastern Partnership states – Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, and Ukraine - was also in discussion at the session.
