FITUR is one of the largest tourism fairs in Europe, with more than ten thousand companies from more than a hundred countries participating every year. The international fair will end on January 23rd.
"Despite the pandemic, Georgia is a representative at this year’s exhibition with a very impressive stand. We are participating in the Madrid fair together with 11 companies. It should also be noted that FITUR is a fair that is held annually despite the pandemic. The whole of Europe is represented at the exhibition and, accordingly, we have an additional opportunity to position our tourism products in a very proper and effective position in the conditions of the pandemic,” said Medea Janiashvili, Acting Head of the National Tourism Administration of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.
