A delegation from the Georgian National Tourism Administration, led by First Deputy Head Tamar Koriauli, visited Austria to explore the country's tourism strategies. They met with officials from the Austrian Ministry of Labour and Economy and the Austrian National Tourist Office to strengthen cooperation. Key discussions focused on regional tourism development, data processing, tourist flow management, and sustainable tourism innovations.
A highlight of the trip was a meeting at the Upper Austria Tourist Board in Linz, where the idea of creating a four-season tourist destination was explored. The delegation also reviewed management strategies for tourist information centres.
The visit, organized with the help of the Georgian Embassy and Austria’s Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy, aimed to enhance understanding of effective tourism policies.
