Levan Ghirsiashvili, the Head of the Georgian National Security Council’s Office, reviewed the World Bank’s role in assisting the country with the creation of a national disaster risk reduction strategy and an early warning system with Rolande Pryce, the Regional Director of the Bank in the South Caucasus.

During the introductory meeting, the parties agreed to enhance future cooperation, the Council said.

The meeting also involved Rusudan Kakhishvili, the Director of the Crisis Situation Management Centre of the Council, and Tafadzwa Dube, the Senior Disaster Risk Management Specialist of the Bank.
