As the Ministry of Justice reports, the National Archives preserves a variety of material about the main patriarchal center of the Georgian Orthodox Church, including historical documents, manuscripts, photos and video footage. These materials are now available online to anyone interested in the history of the renowned cathedral.

The Georgian National Archives is planning an expedition to the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in the near future, after which the existing rich archival documents will be filled with new visual materials.
