Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, along with Givi Mikanadze, Minister of Education, Science and Youth; Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Giorgi Kakhiani, Chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Ukraine, met with a group of Ukrainian children attending a summer camp funded by the Government of Georgia.
The officials spoke with the children and hosted them for dinner, expressing Georgia’s solidarity and support.
The camp, running from June 30 to July 20, welcomes two groups of Ukrainian children, including children of Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen and those who have lost parents in the war.
Throughout their stay, the children are engaged in a diverse program of cultural, educational, and recreational activities. Organized excursions include visits to Tbilisi, Sighnaghi, and Bodbe, offering the young guests a chance to explore Georgia’s rich heritage and hospitality.
