Gia Volski, an MP from the ruling Georgian Dream party and the Vice Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, on Monday met members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Georgia of the legislative body of Kyrgyzstan to discuss cooperation.

The Georgian Parliament said the meeting, hosted in Kyrgyzstan, discussed the territorial integrity of Georgia, facilitation of business, tourism and transit infrastructure.

Gia Volski said the two sides agreed on Kyrgyzstan’s maintaining of recognition of the territorial integrity of Georgia.

The meetings also involved David Matikashvili, the First Deputy Chair of the Legal Issues Committee of Georgian Parliament and the Head of the Georgia and Kyrgyzstan Friendship Group in discussions of the parliamentary cooperation.
