The Georgian Justice Minister Rati Bregadze signed the Council of Europe framework convention on artificial intelligence.

Rati Bregadze highlighted that it was the first international and binding document aimed at ensuring a balance between the utilization of artificial intelligence systems and the protection of human rights.

The document creates a legal basis and defines the basic principles on which the use of artificial intelligence in the contracting states should be based. It also aims to ensure human rights in the context of the use of artificial intelligence.

The Justice Ministry is set to launch the Legal Center of Artificial Intelligence in the near future.
