
Georgia’s Minister of Justice, Paata Salia, held a meeting with Mattias Guyomar, President of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), to review ongoing cooperation between Georgia and the Strasbourg Court.
According to the Ministry of Justice, both sides emphasized that Georgia continues to maintain effective and constructive collaboration with the ECHR throughout all stages of legal proceedings.
The Minister highlighted the significant decline in the number of applications filed against Georgia at the Court, noting positive developments in the execution of ECHR judgments.
Salia also underscored the importance of the Court’s rulings in interstate cases involving Russia, expressing gratitude to President Guyomar for ensuring impartial and fair judicial processes, the Ministry said.
