Georgian judokas win golden medals at Oberwart European Open 2022

Olympic champion Lasha Bekauri (90 kg) returned to the mat after a one-year break and became the winner of the Oberwart European Open 2022 on Sunday.
Another Georgian judoka Vladimir Akhalkatsi (81 kg) also won a gold medal at the Austrian competition.
In the final, Bekauri defeated Shamil Borchashvili, who competed on behalf of Austria, while Akhalkatsi defeated the French judoka Nicolas Chilard.
On the first competition day of the tournament, Giorgi Tutashvili (66 kg) won a bronze medal.
