Georgian judoka Guram Tushishvili claimed a silver medal at the World Championships in Abu Dhabi.

Tushishvili lost the final of the +100 weight category of the tournament against his South Korean rival Minjong Kim.

The Georgian national team claimed four medals at the Championships and took second place in the team competition. Giorgi Sardalashvili and Tato Grigalashvili became World Champions, while Vazha Margvelashvili won a bronze medal in his respective weight category.
