Georgian Interior Minister becomes Vice PM

Vakhtang Gomelauri, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, has been appointed as Vice Prime Minister, according to a report from the government administration.
The appointment was formalized through an order signed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
The Georgian government currently has three Vice Prime Ministers: Levan Davitashvili, who serves as the First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development; Irakli Chikovani, who holds the position of Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Defence; and Vakhtang Gomelauri, who serves both as Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs.
