
“The Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Irakli Karseladze, held a working meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Hungary in Georgia Anna Maria Sikó,” - the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia reports.
At the meeting, the parties talked about the completed, ongoing and planned infrastructure projects in the country. The Minister provided information to the Ambassador about the current and planned projects for the development of road, water supply, wastewater, non-hazardous waste management, educational and municipal infrastructure. He spoke about the Renewed Regions program started at the Prime Minister's initiative, the ongoing urban renewal projects in the country's municipalities, and the new important program for the construction and rehabilitation of 885 kindergartens.
Irakli Karseladze touched upon the local and international importance of successful implementation of the current and planned infrastructure projects. Anna Maria Sikó positively assessed the progress of the development of infrastructure projects in Georgia and, in turn, shared the experience of Hungary with the Minister.
The parties of the meeting talked about the issues of the meeting of the Ministers of regional development and infrastructure of the two countries and the deepening of cooperation and relations in these directions.
The meeting between the Minister and the Ambassador was also attended by the attaché of the Hungarian Embassy in economic affairs, Tomas Hegedus, and the Chief of the Staff of the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Tamar Akhvlediani.
