Irakli Karseladze briefed the guests on important projects for the development of road and water supply infrastructure throughout the country. The parties of the meeting talked about the ongoing projects supported by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).

The guests highly appreciated the development progress of the East-West international highway passing through Georgia and the plan of various infrastructure projects to be implemented in 2024.

At the meeting, the possibilities of deepening cooperation with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank and further plans were discussed.

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is an international financial institution that finances the future infrastructure development projects in various countries globally. The main directions of the Bank's activities are: stimulation of economic development, promotion of a green and climate-oriented environment, cooperation with multilateral and bilateral development partners and improvement of infrastructural connections.

At the end of the meeting, Irakli Karseladze thanked the representatives of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) for the fruitful cooperation.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Mzia Giorgobiani and representatives of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.
