As doctor Elene Giorgadze told reporters after her visit, Mikheil Saakashvili's health condition is currently stable and there are no complications at this stage.

"When a person stops hunger strike, the first 3 days are considered critical, then 2 days are also important. Today we have the second day. As you know, we were here all day. His condition is stable. We will be here again tomorrow morning. 

"Today the pressure was stable. His personal doctor will come today, he has much more right in terms of issuing information. Since we are the doctors who participate in his treatment, we cannot talk in detail about his examinations. Only the personal doctor has the right to do that,” Giorgadze said.

She noted that the first 3 days were the most dangerous.

The doctor also mentioned that Mikheil Saakashvili was following the doctors' instructions.

"The patient has an unusual attitude towards doctors, a lot of respect and it has never been difficult to meet him,” Giorgadze said.
