"Georgia reported a very high rate of reinfection with the Omicron variant in January and February - about 50% of twice vaccinated people have been infected; no one hides it, but those, who got a booster dose, the reinfection frequency is lower," - Amiran Gamkrelidze said at the end of the meeting.
"At the same time, those who have been vaccinated twice, and especially those over the age of 50, are less likely to be hospitalized. There are two main weapons today: wearing a face mask and vaccination," - Amiran Gamkrelidze stated.
