
Mikheil Sarjveladze, Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Protection, held a meeting with representatives of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) and Chairman of the Georgian Trade Union, Irakli Petriashvili.
According to the Ministry, the talks focused on the current state of labour and social protection in Georgia, ongoing reforms, and future areas of cooperation.
Key topics included labour safety, improving working conditions, strengthening social dialogue, and ensuring the effective protection of workers' rights.
Minister Sarjveladze expressed gratitude to the ETUC for its support and noted that cooperation grounded in shared values will continue to grow.
ETUC representatives gave a positive assessment of Georgia’s recent progress, and both sides reaffirmed their commitment to work together in tackling ongoing labour and social challenges.
