
“The Health Minister of Georgia Zurab Azarashvili and the First Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia met with Florence Bauer, UNFPA's Regional Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia,” - the Ministry of Health reports.
Reportedly, the parties discussed the current cooperation issues and the future needs. The necessity to work on the topic of aging policy was emphasized, as well as the matters of improving the quality of reproductive health services.
The meeting was held within the framework of the session of the European Regional Committee of the World Health Organization (WHO).
The Georgian Health Minister is paying an official visit to Tel Aviv, where he is participating in the 72nd session of the World Health Organization.
