
As part of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Georgia’s Minister of Health, Mikheil Sarjveladze, met with Bulgaria’s Health Minister, Silvi Kirilov.
According to Georgia’s Health Ministry, the ministers discussed ongoing healthcare reforms, shared best practices, and explored opportunities for future cooperation. Key topics included disease prevention, equitable access to healthcare, and the use of modern medical technologies.
Both sides expressed a commitment to strengthening collaboration in public health.
The ministry also noted that Minister Sarjveladze will participate in high-level UNGA events and deliver remarks outlining Georgia’s healthcare reforms and priorities.
