Georgian government continues evacuating Georgian citizens from Ukraine

“The government continues to assist the Georgian citizens evacuated from Ukraine, including their organized repatriation,” - the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia reports.
"Within the last 24 hours, more than a hundred Georgian citizens returned home, while 200 more evacuees will return to Georgia this week both by land and by air. With the involvement of the Georgian government, totally 220 Georgian citizens will be provided with the similar assistance.
Georgian citizens are also being transported from Ukraine’s city of Lviv to Poland’s capital Warsaw. Additional routes were designated on March 15-16.
Georgia’s diplomatic missions to Kyiv, Odesa, Lviv, as well as in the bordering countries – Romania, Poland, Moldova, Slovakia, and Hungary, continue operating in emergency modes,” - the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
