The Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the opening of a new General Consulate in Kraków, Poland. The procedures for the consulate's establishment were completed in collaboration with the Polish authorities on February 11.

Ioseb Khakhaleishvili will head the Consulate, taking up his duties next week.

The consulate will provide services to Georgian citizens residing in the Lublin, Małopolski, and Podkarpackie regions of Poland. An official opening ceremony will be held in the near future.
