During her visit to Israel, Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili visited the Nova Festival site, the location of the devastating Hamas attack on October 7, 2023.

According to the Israeli Embassy in Georgia, Botchorishvili also toured the Nir Oz kibbutz, the homes of the Bibas family, and other affected locations.

“Maka Botchorishvili paid her respects to the memory of the victims and witnessed the scale of the tragedy. Her visit underscores Georgia’s solidarity with the State of Israel and its people,” the embassy wrote on social media.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas militants infiltrated the Re’im district near the Gaza Strip during a music festival, resulting in the tragic deaths of over 370 people.
