“Our boys truly deserve this grand and dignified reception because they are exceptional players,” stated Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to journalists at Liberty Square, where the Georgian national football team was ceremonially welcomed.

Kobakhidze emphasized that the football players have brought incredible joy to the Georgian people in recent months.

“Initially, there was immense anticipation, followed by the remarkable fulfillment of that anticipation. I extend my heartfelt thanks once again to each player and our entire team.  Simultaneously, there is ongoing anticipation because the League of Nations begins in September, followed by World Cup qualifiers and new aspirations,” Kobakhidze remarked.
