Georgia's capital, Tbilisi, is scheduled to host a legends' match featuring former players from the national football team of Georgia and FC Barcelona. This event will take place on May 16 at the Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi, and it is organized by Sports Orient, a company that initiated the Legend Series last year. The goal of this series is to establish an annual "football celebration" within the country.

The inaugural match of the Legend Series was held in March at the Adjarabet Arena Stadium in Batumi, a coastal city on the Black Sea. During this event, former legendary players from Inter Milan participated, with the match concluding in a 2:0 victory for the Milan legends. Portuguese football icon Luis Figo scored both of the winning goals.

The Legend Series is an independent initiative designed to bring iconic football figures to Georgia. Its objectives include promoting the sport, enhancing fan culture, and showcasing the country's rich cultural, sporting, and tourism potential.

The lineups for the upcoming match will be announced in the near future, and ticket sales are expected to begin in the latter half of March.
