A telephone conversation took place between Georgia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Bochorishvili, and her Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister congratulated Bochorishvili on her appointment and wished her success in her new role.

During the conversation, both sides highlighted the importance of the strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan, expressing a commitment to further strengthening their cooperation. They also underscored the significance of maintaining the momentum of high-level visits between the two countries.

The Ministers reaffirmed the importance of long-term and sustainable peace in the South Caucasus region.

Bochorishvili expressed gratitude for Azerbaijan's strong support of Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity and reiterated Georgia's steadfast support for Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
