Georgia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with Austrian Ambassador to Georgia, Robert Gershner, during which they discussed key aspects of bilateral cooperation, emphasizing the longstanding, friendly, and partnership-based relations between their two nations. Both sides acknowledged the importance of strengthening political dialogue to enhance mutual ties.
According to a statement from the Ministry's press office, the meeting also underscored the need to further develop economic and sectoral cooperation between Georgia and Austria.
The discussions included an exchange on Georgia's relations with the European Union, with both parties recognizing the significance of Austria's support for Georgia’s European integration efforts. Minister Botchorishvili expressed appreciation for Austria's continued support of Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to collaborating on ongoing issues and to advancing bilateral cooperation in the future, as noted in the statement.
