As the Ministry of Finance of Georgia reported, during his speech at the Governor Business Roundtable, Lasha Khutsishvili spoke about the economic and investment opportunities of Georgia and the projects of international importance that Georgia is planning and implementing despite geopolitical challenges.
"The Minister emphasized the contribution made by the AIIB to the infrastructure development of the member countries and expressed hope that the cooperation with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank will continue actively," the ministry said.
As of August 2023, the credit portfolio of the AIIB in Georgia amounts to $205 million. The bank is involved in financing the development of large infrastructure projects in Georgia.
