The Minister of Finance of Georgia Lasha Khutsishvili met with the representatives of the organizing group of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) annual meeting, Malik Muhammad Ehsan and David Garrigos-Soliva.
As is known, the annual meeting of the Bank of Georgia will be hosted in May 2024. This is a large-scale event, which up to 5,000 guests will take part in, among them will be representatives of the business sector, as well as the Finance Ministers of the bank's member countries and presidents of the National Bank.
The parties reviewed the work to be done for organizing this most important event at a high level. As mentioned, the 57th ADB Annual Meeting will be a great opportunity to present Georgia in a multilateral format.
The Minister of Finance, once again, thanked the members of the Board of Governors of the Bank for their support and trust in Georgia.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister of Finance Ekaterine Guntsadze and the Asian Development Bank's Country Director in Georgia Shane Rosenthal.
