„The Minister of Finance of Georgia Lasha Khutsishvili met with the Regional Director of the World Bank in the South Caucasus, Sebastian Molyneux, who officially presented the new Regional Director of the Bank, Rolande Pryce, to the Minister,“ - the Ministry of Finance reports.
Reportedly, Rolande Pryce will start his activities from September 1, 2023.
The Deputy Finance Ministers Giorgi Kakauridze, Ekaterine Guntsadze and Mirza Gelashvili attended the meeting.
The Minister of Finance congratulated Rolande Pryce on his appointment to the new position and wished him success in his future work. Also, Lasha Khutsishvili thanked Sebastian Molyneux for his support to Georgia and the work done by the regional office of the World Bank under his leadership.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the ongoing projects financed by the World Bank in the country and expressed their readiness to further deepen cooperation.
