Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili, accompanied by Deputy Minister Ekaterine Guntsadze, held a productive meeting with Masato Kanda, President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), to discuss the ongoing partnership between Georgia and the ADB.
Minister Khutsishvili extended congratulations to President Kanda on his appointment in February and expressed confidence in the continued success of their collaboration. The discussions centered on Georgia's recent economic achievements, including robust growth and macroeconomic stability, as well as the ADB-supported projects across various sectors contributing to the country's development.
President Kanda commended Georgia's role in regional and multilateral cooperation and expressed hope for a sustained and successful partnership. Since joining the ADB in 2007, Georgia has received over $5 billion in investments, underscoring the strong and enduring relationship between the two entities.
The meeting reflects the commitment of both parties to further enhance their cooperation and support Georgia's continued development and integration into the global economy.
