The Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili met Massimiliano D'Antuono, the Italian Ambassador to the country, to discuss bilateral cooperation in trade and economics.

The Ministry said the meeting also featured Ekaterine Guntsadze, the country's Deputy Finance Minister, as the parties discussed Georgia’s indicators of economic growth, its macro and fiscal indicators.
The dignitaries discussed Georgia's economic growth and macro-fiscal indicators, as well as reviewed the bilateral cooperation in trade and economic directions. They expressed readiness to continue the partnership between the two countries, which will further enhance the cooperation between Italian and Georgian businesses.

The conversation also touched upon the steps taken by Georgia towards European integration and Italy's support for the country as one of the founding members of the European Union.
