
As the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia reported, the Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili met with the Hungarian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia, Anna Maria Sikó.
The parties discussed the issues of bilateral relations.
During the meeting, attention was paid to the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia and Hungary's support in this direction.
The cooperation between the countries in terms of such strategic infrastructural projects as the Black Sea submarine cable project, thanks to which, the energy system of the South Caucasus will be connected to the European Union via Georgia was emphasized.
The Minister of Finance informed the Hungarian diplomat about the current situation in the country's economy and the macroeconomic and budgetary parameters of 2024.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue cooperation.
