Georgian Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili addressed the business session of the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) 58th Annual Meeting, emphasizing Georgia’s robust economic performance and the importance of regional collaboration.
Khutsishvili described the ADB meeting as a valuable platform for dialogue and strengthening partnerships among member countries. He highlighted Georgia’s significant economic achievements, noting that the country has maintained an average annual growth rate exceeding 9.5% over the past four years, with strong momentum continuing into 2025.
In his remarks, the Finance Minister stressed the need for enhanced cooperation among ADB members, urging them to share experiences and make joint decisions aimed at fostering sustainable economic growth, generating employment, and deepening regional integration to promote broader welfare.
He concluded by thanking the ADB team and the Italian government for their excellent organization of the event.
