
“The Minister of Finance Lasha Khutsishvili met with Hungarian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia Anna Maria Shiko. The Deputy Minister of Finance Ekaterine Guntsadze also attended the meeting,” - the Ministry of Finance of Georgia reports.
Reportedly, the parties emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two countries in trade and economic, tourism, agriculture and other fields.
The Minister of Finance informed the Hungarian diplomat about the current situation in the country's economy and the macroeconomic and budgetary parameters of 2023.
During the meeting, attention was paid to the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia and Hungary's support in this direction. The conversation touched on the flagship projects of the EU investment policy.
The Ambassador expressed his readiness to actively support the further deepening of the partnership between Georgia and Hungary.
