“Against the background of high economic growth rate in 2021-2022, by the end of 2022, the volume of our economy will approach 65 billion GEL, and GDP per capita will be more than 5,600 dollars,” - said the Minister of Finance, Lasha Khutsishvili, while discussing the final version of the draft budget for 2022 .
As Lasha Khutsishvili noted, a 6-percent economic growth is planned for 2022, while the average economic growth rate for 2022-2025 will be 5.5 percent. He said that along with the 2022 budget draft, a document on the analysis of economic scenarios has been submitted to the Parliament, which analyzes the potential risks faced by not only our region but also the global economy.
