A Georgian film director, Salome Jashi, has won the Film and Media Arts Award at the Berlin Academy of Arts.
"The Berlin Academy of Arts annually awards prizes and scholarships for outstanding creative achievements and support and development of artists in six categories: visual arts, architecture, music, literature, performing arts, and film and media arts. The Chairman of the Documentary Association Georgia (DOCA Georgia) and also a member of the Board of Cinematographers of the Georgian Film Institute", - the GFI-Georgian Film Institute writes on the social network.
To be informed, Salome Jashi is a director and producer; she has made films recognized on the international film scene, such as: Taming The Garden, The Dazz Ling Light of Sunset, Bakhmaro and others.
The award ceremony will be held on March 18 in Berlin.
