Georgian film director Elene Naverian's film "Wet Sand" is winner at Solothum Film Festival

"The Solothum Film Festival has revealed the winner. Elene Naverian's film "Wet Sand" was given the prestigious award The Prixs de Soleure," - the Georgian National Film Center reports.
"Wet Sand" was created with the support of the National Film Center and is a co-production of Switzerland and Georgia.
The world premiere of the film took place in August 2021 at one of the most prestigious Locarno International Film Festivals. At this festival, a Georgian actor Gia Agumava was awarded for Best Performance in a Male Role.
The Solothum Film Festival (SFT) is the most important festival for Swiss film production. The festival was founded in 1966 and is held every year.
