Georgian exports reached record high in June - Georgian Deputy Economy Minister

The Georgian Deputy Economy Minister Vakhtang Tsintsadze said exports from the country had reached a record high figure of six percent and $582.1 million in the month of June.
The Ministry cited Tsintsadze as saying local exports increased by 11% compared to June 2023 and amounted to $270.2 million.
Tsintsadze also noted exports were quite diversified, with growth observed in agricultural products, clothing and textile products, ferroalloys and other industrial products.
He also said his office was taking a number of important steps to increase the competitiveness of export of local production and actively working to ensure export diversification through state support programmes.
