The National Environment Agency has issued a weather forecast predicting snow and rain in certain regions of Georgia on December 26–27.
Snowfall is primarily expected in the mountainous areas of western and eastern Georgia, while the capital city, Tbilisi, is anticipated to experience predominantly dry conditions.
The detailed forecast for various regions is as follows:
- Tbilisi: +7 to +9°C
- Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, Poti: +16 to +18°C (daytime), +10 to +12°C (nighttime)
- Zestaponi, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili, Ozurgeti: +15 to +17°C (daytime), +8 to +10°C (nighttime)
- Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo, Rikoti Pass: +8 to +10°C (daytime), +5 to +7°C (nighttime)
- Mestia, Bakhmaro: +6 to +8°C (daytime), +1 to +3°C (nighttime)
