The Embassy of Georgia in Israel has released an important notice for Georgian citizens residing in the country.

According to the announcement, due to the current security situation, Israel’s Population and Immigration Authority (PIBA) will automatically extend visas for foreigners legally residing in Israel as of June 12, 2025. These extensions will remain valid until September 30, 2025.

The automatic extension applies to the following visa categories:

B/1 – General work visa

B/2 – Tourist visa

B/4 – Volunteer visa

A/1 – Temporary resident visa

A/2 – Student visa (excluding agricultural workers)

A/3 – Clergy visa

A/4 – Accompanying family member visa

A/5 – Temporary resident visa

DCO – Family reunification and humanitarian cases

The embassy emphasized that no physical visit to PIBA offices is required for the visa extension process.
