
The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Giorgi Amilakhvari, held an official meeting with the Acting Permanent Representative of the Asian Development Bank in Georgia, Kamel Bouhmad, and discussed with him the current and future projects in the field of education.
Giorgi Amilakhvari thanked Kamel Bouhmad for his support for the development of the education system and emphasized the importance of cooperation between the Ministry and the Asian Development Bank.
The Minister singled out the ongoing project worth $70 million with the financial support of the Asian Development Bank, which aims to promote the development of professional education in the regions.
The parties also discussed further plans in the direction of human capital development and improvement of labor skills among young people in Georgia. The conversation also touched on the joint project planned for the promotion of general education reform.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister expressed his willingness to deepen cooperation with the Asian Development Bank.
