“The estimated real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth rate amounted to 11.8 percent for April 2024 compared to the previous year and the average real GDP growth for January-April 2024 equaled 9.0 percent,” - the National Statistics Service of Georgia reported.

In April 2024, compared to the same period of the previous year, the estimated real growth in the following activities contributed significantly: Manufacturing, Construction, Information and Communication, Transportation and Storage, Trade, Professional, Scientific and Technical activities.

The decline was observed in the Energy sector.
