
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, the Ambassador of Georgia to Azerbaijan Zurab Pataradze also participated in the meeting.
The meeting focused on bilateral friendly relations and trade and economic ties between Georgia and Azerbaijan, including in the sectors such as trade, transport, investment, energy and others.
The focus was on the participation of Georgia and Azerbaijan in the projects of regional and global importance, including the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, the South Caucasus gas pipeline, the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, and others.
The meeting participants highlighted the importance of holding business forums in Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey, which have been arranged since 2012. The Minister said the forum is a good opportunity for businesses to consider new business proposals, acquire new partners and better develop business ties, while the agreements reached at the forum will help develop economic cooperation between the three countries in different directions.
