
The Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Levan Davitashvili is paying a working visit to Brussels, Belgium, where high-level meetings are scheduled to be held in the European Commission.
As mentioned in the release issued by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, relations between Georgia and the European Union, fulfillment of the obligations defined by the Association Agreement and other priority areas of cooperation will be discussed during the meetings. They will also discuss the issues of greater integration of Georgia into the European structures.
Within the framework of the visit, Levan Davitashvili will meet the European Commissioners in the issues of transport, energy, financial stability, financial services and capital markets connection, neighborhood and expansion, budget and administration and trade and will discuss the priority directions of bilateral cooperation with them.
During the visit, a meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister with the Director General of Eurocontrol Eamonn Brennan is planned, during which relations in the direction of civil aviation will be discussed.
