
The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Levan Davitashvili met with the Deputy Director at the Middle East and Central Asia Department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Subir Lall, the head of the mission James John and other members of the mission.
As the Ministry reported, the meeting touched upon the cooperation between Georgia and the IMF, as well as the economic trends of Georgia, double-digit economic growth, current and future reforms and the impact of the situation in the region.
The discussion also focused on renewable energy use, energy security and facing challenges.
Georgia’s economic outlook, which has been stable for the past two years, was also highlighted.
