„It became known today that the economic growth in November 2021 was 12%, which is why we can already say for sure that we will finish the year 2021 with double-digit economic growth. 2022 will be the year of accelerated development," - Natia Turnava, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, assessed the preliminary indicators of economic growth by Geostat.
The Minister stressed the fact that the main determinant of economic growth is the export of the Georgian products, which is growing at a high rate, as well as the revival and recovery of tourism.
According to her, positive dynamics have been seen in almost all fields, including logistics, transport, processing industry, accommodation facilities, hospitality industry, etc.
"All this will lead to a peaceful and prosperous 2022, when our main task - to fight poverty - will be fully achievable," - said Natia Turnava.
