
The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Levan Davitashvili met with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The information about this has been spread by the Azerbaijani side.
The Georgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Zurab Pataridze also attended the meeting together with Davitashvili.
As the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan reported, the meeting stressed the importance of implementing joint projects in the field of transport and energy. In addition, Aliyev spoke about the significance of increasing the transport traffic between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
"The head of the government expressed his satisfaction in terms of increasing the trade turnover, adding that it is important to outline other perspectives that will make the trade turnover grow," - the Administration stated.
According to Davitashvili, there is a great potential for increasing the trade turnover between the two countries.
